Finally, 2 papers down the drain (results inclusive) and 2 papers left... Dunno whether to be happy or sad that I have to depend on the last 2 papers if I were to have any chance to hit my target GPA of 3... Hopefully, will be able to make it ba? I dun think that I will be able to forgive myself if my results for both the papers fail to hit at least a credit... All the panic attacks and careless mistakes simply cant be forgiven especially when I know how to do the question... Grr... Dunno what is wrong with me this semster... On a happier note, at least that Abu is confident of his papers... Damn, he must have taken all my essence away hahaha... Belle and Ariel, from what I know, are also rather unsure of their papers, so I guess I am not the only one floundering in unknown waters.... Sighz... but at least they didnt make the stupid blunders that I did... .ARGH!!!

Anyway, a BIG THANK YOU to all those who came down to Raffles City (Kylie, Pam, Vincent, Eric, Sarah, Nizam (through the phone) and those who weren't able to make it down due to various reasons: Jason, Pei yu and ....... come to think of it, i dunno who else le haha) to celebrate my birthday with me! And also a thank you to Malvin, Pam (yes another pam) and her sis for the wonderful dinner and cake at Din Tai Fong... Really appreciate it as I thought I would really be spending it alone with my books and notes... Love ya guys lots!

Also thanks Jian hua and Yvonne for the PSP speakers, haha now u have given my psp a new life since like dunno how many months ago haha... must make use of the speakers since its given right? hahaha

For those, still having papers, Jia you!! For those, enjoying the beautiful freedom, play hard and stay happy!!

Been feeling a slight pain/ache in my right chest recently... Wonder if its an indication of anything serious... Hopefully, it amounts to nothing...

Wonder what's up with the weather recently? Its super uber duber unbearably HOT!! Totally hates this kind of weather, especially when I'm in the middle of exam period... Geez, why cant Singapore just be a bit more cooling... Sometimes I just prefer the rainy season, at least it is way way way much cooler, though travelling is a hassle due to the rain...

One paper down and 3 more to go... The Internation Trade paper was a total disappointment for me cause I went in with confidence and came out deflated... Misinterpreted 2 questions which I think I can score well in and ended up doing others which I am not confident in... I.e. to say out of the 5 out of 6 questions that I completed... I am only confident of 3... Sighz... This is bad... Looks like my hope of mantaining a GPA of at least 3 is long down the drain already and to make things worse, this was the easiest paper out of the 4 modules....

Feel totally unprepared for the other 3 papers due in part to the lousy lecturers (okie, I wont put all the blame on them... I didnt study for it too) and the lack of time and effort on my part as well I guess... Sighz... I am going to need a miracle to obtain a GPA of 3...Wasted... Argh!!! Damn it, now's not the time for moping... Believe and you can... I believe this is what I told a few others, dunno why I suddenly said that also... Hmph, but maybe I really need to tell this to myself...

Just wishing that this horrible period of uncertainity is over and done with already... I can already picture the seafood feast that has been planned on the 8th may... Cant wait for it!!!

An entirely unexpected proposition propped out last night which left me racking my brain searching for solutions to the problem, which up to date have turned to naught... well, I wont say nothing has turned up, but I know of a way... Just that, I am going to need approval... Wonder if I dare break it to them... Anyhow, that will be absolutely the last 2nd possible solution... There must be a way out of this... there must!

I guess, in the end, everything that describes my attitude towards some people, unintentionally, stems from and boils down to simply one word.

Super mega duper pissed!!!

All becuz of an idiot who apparently told the RMIT lecturer that he had gotten access to the 2009 test papers for International Trade... Now, the test results for the subject has to be revoked(though no results have been released yet) and to be rescheduled on 12th May at 1900hrs!!! ARHHH!!! That's like extending the damn exam period for another 4 days lahz!!! The only thing to be thankful about I guess is that the test date is not on the 13th where Da Clique will be leaving for our Grad trip... Damn it, wonder who the hell so dumb... Wasted all my time studying for the test lahz... damn it! Grr..

Wasted an entire day today... Simply unable to concentrate on my studies... The empty mind pervaded by thoughts... unneccessary thoughts... Ultimately, totally sian diao that I wasted an entire day doing absolutely nothing.... Damn it, I guess I really need to study with someone, but is anyone even available? Crap....

28/03/09 MR500 race

Woke up early to prepare myself to head to camp to attend a compulsory mob brief. Had to dress in smart 4 attire which was kinda troublesome as I had to rush down to Bedok reservoir later to participate in the event that I was slotted for. And so, spent around 3 hours for the brief before hitching a ride in Charlton's car to Bedok reservoir. Felt kinda weird to be the only one in army fatigues walking around the place when everyone else was in their sporting attire.. Anyway spotted the guys soon enough... Changed out of my attire and provided moral support while waiting for my event... All of the compeitiors gave all their best and thats all that matters! Good Race I should say, seeing that everyone improved in their timings... Let's aim for the next race!!

03/04/09 April's Babies Celebration

Was on the way to school when I received this sms from yi rong. "... Today's class is at 1515 at Lt1.03..."... The time then was like around 1315... Initial class timing was at 1400.... and so I was stuck in school for about 75 mins waiting for the class to start... The only thing that I could not understand was why the coordinator did not inform us of the class timing change since she was present in the test venue as well... Well, what's done is done I guess... Anyway headed down to Fish & Co. glass house where the rest of the canoeists were waiting there to celebrate the April Babies B'dae...

The 4 April BabiesBirthday cards for the 4 babiesAfter dinner was over, then everything went crazy... The cake came in and the FIsh & Co. crew did their bdae rap after which Kylie asked each of us to blow the number of candles that equate to each of our age individually... However, due to the candle not being able to last, it was at last changed to all of us blowing the candles off together...After that, we were tasked to take out one candle holder buried in the cake with our mouth, while Stephanie happily layered cake on our faces while we were at it... The cake was good but the feeling of cake on the faces.... "Fabulous!!" Haha but then after all 4 babies were done, it was time for sweet revenge... Sarah was the first, then the rest followed...

Headed down to Selegie Tau Huay for dessert after that.. If you want to know the reason why nizam keeps calling me a ladies man, I'm sure the picture below will provide you with some clues as to why this is the case... But seriously speaking, I think he is the ladies man, not me... Haha
Went to Sarah's house after dessert. Waited for Sarah and Eric to pick Pei yu up at the MRT station before going up to her house.
Played the King's game, whereby the person who draws the King gets to command any 2 other numbers to do whatever he wants. Apparently, you can see from Pei yu's and Sarah's photo below how hilarious the forfeits were and how utterly embarrassing it must be.... Haha shall not post any photos of what transpired there here though...
The next day, when I reached home and saw the present that the canoeists gave me, I was really touched... Given the current circumstances that I was in, I should say that it was a really much needed and appreciated gift! Thank you canoeists!! Love you guys to the max!!

06/04/09 Thoughts

Been kinda under a lot of pressure lately. Just to name a few:

1. The need to perform in my studies
2. The need to find a job before graduation
3. The need to plan the Australian Grad trip so that everything runs smoothly

I tried to study today but it was kinda a futile effort... The moment I opened page 1 of the notes, my eyes started to droop and sure enough I fell asleep soon after... I wonder why I am lacking the motivation to study although I know there is an extremely desperate need to put in utmost efforts into preparing for the exams, given that the modules are difficult and that I would need to self teach myself for at least 2 modules, namely Investment and Intro to Futures and Options.. Maybe I just need someone to study with me... Or maybe I just need... Nvm...

As the final exam dates loom nearer and nearer, the terrifying prospect of seeking a job also seems to become larger and larger... If I knew what kind of job I wanted, this would not be so bad at all. But given the fact that I am still on an uncertain foot as to which path I wanted to go, the need to find a job is increasingly becoming a burden for me... I need some advice, some light to show me the way...

Something happened a few days back that really got me hopping mad... It went something like this... Was on the way home from school with another friend of mine, let's call him J. J was like one of the more hardworking and smart ones in class, just for your info, and so I was like telling him that this sem's modules were very hard and that I could not understand what was going on in class and while studying myself... And the first thing he said was... Dun go for your canoeing trainings lah, go so early in the morning den make yourself tired in class, den dun understand anything... I was like quite taken aback by his outburst as I wasnt expecting that from him... He went on further to comment that we should not be so committed to canoeing since we have already stepped down from our various positions... Was kinda irritated by his insensitivity and his stubborness as he insisted that it was due to canoeing that I have kinda neglected my studies this semster... But, this was like so obviously not the case lahz... I can show him my results for the past 2 sems to prove it, and that was the period whereby I was more involved with the sport... Geez... Some people just dun have the innate sensitivity when speaking on certain topics... They just go full blast without considering the feelings of others... I wonder what his EQ is like.... Judging from my EQ quiz level, maybe his lower than mine? But I was really quite disheartened when he said that lah.... Well, I will definitely prove him wrong even if its going to be a tough journey ahead...
